Whether you can make a commitment of a few hours every week, or just help occasionally, there are many ways for you to become involved with the elderly community. Choose to volunteer weekly and we'll match you with one senior, or remain on call and let us call you when there is an upcoming event.

Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome at Visiting Neighbors in New York City, New York. We do not discriminate under any circumstances. If you would like to help seniors as they face the challenges of aging alone in New York City, we will find a way for you to volunteer.

Howie Square, our volunteer coordinator, can help corporate teams plan Days of Service or other opportunities for participation. Please contact him at (212) 260-6200 to discuss potential corporate involvement.

School organizations may also reach out to our organization through either school-sponsored activities, or individual participation. There is no such thing as too much help.
